We had a simple need -- to replace a badly damaged and deteriorating 57 year old wooden fence bordering our back yard. Following a word-of-mouth recommendation, we contacted Lyle Lavietes to come out to look at our situation. While this was not the kind of major landscape project Lyle is used to, he focused on our needs and made a reasonable offer to cover a 3-day project to remove our old dying fence, plus a lot of ivy and other foliage, and the installation of a new 6-foot vinyl privacy fence with gate. Having a high comfort level with Lyle, we went ahead with the contract. Everything was accomplished on schedule, thanks to Lyle's oversight and the skills of his excellent team. Lyle was also helpful in the choice of some new plants to to decorate the base of the fence as well as taking care of some sprinkler corrections and some minor outdoor structural issues. Lyle was excellent to work with -- and the fence looks great! As a matter of fact, the appearance of our entire yard has been improved. We recommend!

After talking to Lyle over the phone and then meeting him, I knew I had found the right guy to do the landscape project in my back yard. I wanted something special and memorable so he took me to the nursery and showed me all my options. I let him design the theme based on the look I wanted. It was a huge job on a big lot. When he started the job he was here everyday until it was done. It turned out great. I couldn't have asked for better. Thx Lyle.

This is a little odd in that I am reviewing the work of a company that did no work for me. How can that be? Like this: We inquired about having a cinder block with a sight tilt replaced. In one case the contractor wouldn't even come out; he stated that if there is ANY tilt, it must be replaced. Another came out and, without even looking over the wall to see where it is based - about three feet lower than our yard, on our neighbor's side - said it needed to be replaced and quoted us $9k. And there are other similar stories. But Lyle came out personally, inspected carefully and determined that, though the wall did have a slight tilt, it had likely been that way, or close to it, since it was originally built in 1963! He determined that the wall was stable and the replacement was unnecessary. This meant passing up the approximately $9k the other contractor couldn't resist. So, I can't actually speak to Lyle's work or even his pricing, but in a world where trust is hard to place, his honesty is worth at least five stars.

These guys are the best. I couldn't be happier with the maintenance and landscaping ideas these guys have given me. Very professional and on time and reasonable costs! You would be wise to hire these guys!

We hired Lyle to help us clean up a very overgrown slope in the backyard. We had done redone our landscaping a few years prior, but I think with all the rain this winter, it just grew into one big mess with lots of weeds. Lyle came by in no time, looked at the area, and quoted a price for what would be a day's work. He was extremely professional, polite, and communicative. He and the workers showed up on time, got right to work, and by the end the slope looked amazing. They cleaned up any mess they had made. Amazing quality! I will definitely use him again the future for any other landscaping projects.

I met Lyle through my networking group and have used his business on many occasions. He is always on time and completes the work perfectly and on time. Once the job is done, everything gets cleaned up and also cleaned up on a daily basis, everthing is kept looking like new! I recommend him to all my family and friends!

I contacted Lyle Lavietes because he did the artificial grass installation at my golf course. I wanted to replace my backyard grass with artificial turf. We agreed on price and Lyle started with killing the existing grass. Once the grass was dead, his crew started work and continued every day until the work was done. They showed up at 8 AM (sometimes earlier) and worked efficiently all day. As the job progressed, I added more work (plants, tree removal, pool grouting) which was quickly completed. I am very pleased with the work Lyle has done for me. Thanks Lyle.
