Lyle was available even if he was busy, and he was attentive and detail-oriented. He cares about his work product, which has become a rarity. Our yard was in very sad shape and Lyle brought it back to life with a variety of plants, flowers, and trees. The workers left the space clean at the end of each day and the project got done on time. We can't wait for the weather to get nicer so we can fully enjoy it!

Lyle Lavietes recently completed a project including sprinklers, tree plantings and redoing the parkway at my home. Lyle and his crew were professional, timely and did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again and will recommend to anyone that needs any landscape project.

Lyle does superior design and execution. He and his crew installed drip irrigation and low water landscaping. Excellent maintenance work as well.

Lyle did a great job transforming our outdoor spaces after the drought. His crew is friendly, considerate, and tidy both during reconstruction and their weekly care services. He was able to take care of outdoor structures in addition to lawn, sprinkler, and flower gardens! I highly recommend Lyle for your outdoor needs.

Lyle and his team have been great for all landscaping details and needs. Guaranteed every time that they will finish in a timely manner with rebuilds, irrigation, kindness, great suggestions, the list can keep going! We have had lyle’s team on the property since 2020. They have completed tons of complicated projects and made the outside of our house beautiful. Even our neighbors have noted the work that has been done and used them on their homes. After many years the backyard was looking pretty bad. I started the process of looking for a contractor. I narrowed it down to 3 after looking at yelp and google reviews. Lyle Lavietes was the one we selected after getting bids from all 3. To be honest, Lyle wasn't the lowest bid but he was so easy to talk to, very professional and not pushy. I had a general idea about what we wanted including water wise plants, drip watering, deck drainage, future electrical runs and a gas line for a future BBQ or fire pit. Lyle made some suggestions that made great sense. It gave me a feeling he knew what he was doing and was the contractor for the job. Together we came up with a plan and proceeded. We even were lucky that a homeowner nearby in Simi Valley allowed us to visit and see some work done by the Lavietes crew. I had no idea what type of plants to use. Lyle met us at a nursery where we selected plants based on his suggestions and our selection from those. Next we visited a masonry yard where we selected the paving stones. Based on our selections and the plan of attack we got a reasonable final bid from Lyle in a few days. In about two weeks time from initial contact the job was started. The work crew "went to town" on the backyard. They arrived on time, put in a hard day of work and cleaned up before leaving every day. Lyle was there most every day to see the work progress. The job was completed in about a month and a half from starting. This included wait time for materials because I selected a tumbled paver that needed additional processing at the manufacturer. All in all I would recommend Lyle Lavietes for landscape and pavers. The job was completed slightly less than 2 years ago (9/22) and the plants have grown especially well with the virtually invisible drip system only watering once a week! Lyle is very easy to collaborate with and is very knowledgeable. We continually get compliments about our hardscape and softscape.
